This is the year colleges, scholarships, and employers weigh the most. Keep it strong, and ask for help the moment a class gets hard.

You don't have to choose yet, but you do have to start comparing: college vs. training program vs. work, in-state vs. out, cost vs. fit.
YOU HAVE OPTIONS
You've got options! From college to entering the workforce to helping communities around the world while gaining job experience – there's so much out there.

Explore 4-year, 2-year, and certificate programs.

Discover hands-on training programs can get you certified and job-ready in months, not years.

Idaho job seekers have options like full time, part time, remote work, and apprenticeships.

Learn, serve, and build experience with programs like AmeriCorps.

Most families don't realize how much help is actually out there. Getting familiar with the basics now makes senior year a whole lot easier.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a free online tool that helps you figure out what type of aid (and how much) you qualify for.
Start with Scholarship Idaho, it's a free application to eight state-managed scholarships. Then browse, filter, and search through hundreds of scholarships from across the country using the Scholarship Directory.

Idaho LAUNCH helps cover training costs for eligible students heading into high-demand careers — no minimum GPA, and no FAFSA required to find out if it's for you. You won't apply until senior year, but it's worth understanding how it works now.

You may also already be on track for Idaho Campus Choice, which pre-qualifies Idaho seniors for admission to in-state colleges based on your grades. There's nothing to apply for yet — just something to know is working in your favor.
